High-Fructose Corn Syrup HFCS-42 and HFCS-55
ACT International supplies high-fructose corn syrup in the HFCS-42 and HFCS-55 grades to beverage, bakery, dairy, sauce and confectionery manufacturers. We coordinate specification alignment, packaging, documentation and international shipment with qualified production partners.
What HFCS-42 and HFCS-55 Mean
The number in each grade name refers to the approximate fructose content on a dry-solids basis. HFCS-42 contains approximately 42% fructose on a dry-solids basis, and HFCS-55 contains approximately 55% fructose on a dry-solids basis, with the balance made up mainly of glucose and higher saccharides.
Exact fructose content, dry-solids level, colour and other analytical parameters are confirmed against the manufacturer's specification sheet for each supply arrangement.
